Workshop – Preparation for Certification to SS EN 1090
3 October 2019Building and Construction Authority (BCA) had envisaged requiring all structural steel fabricators for the Built Environment to be certified under the SS EN 1090 standard within a two-year period once the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) scheme is in place. This workshop aims to help structural steel fabricators and other
stakeholders with vested interest in the execution of steel structures, to understand the requirements for achieving Factory Production Control (FPC) conformity in
accordance with SS EN 1090 and how to prepare them for certification audit.
